One of the small beautiful things that we’ve been noticing this summer is how many fireflies there are! What a joy to see them, when they’re endangered by climate change.
I don't know this scent, but I know the importance and value of stopping, listening, hearing, smelling and enjoying the wonderful sights and sounds and scents of my surroundings. And ignoring (at least for the moment) the other sounds and scents. The ugliness and disgust of hatred and narcissistic power. I am trying to live in the moments of my life. To enjoy the glory that is my little world. I resist every second that I can, but again, I also must enjoy the small, exceptionally good things that surround my life!
The basswood blossom’s scent is summer’s finest. I didn’t know where it was coming from until not too many years ago. I just inhaled and thought it a benediction. I still do. Who can live without such sweet mercies as nature provides?
The stench of the Big Ugly Bill is permeating all our senses and spreading a cloud over our wonderful planet. Stench is often more powerful than the sweet scents we love. Out nation just took another giant step in the destruction of the nation that should be celebrated tomorrow.
Love your writing. And recognition of these joys is our strength. Little joys lift us, while we watch the destroyers of loving principals sink lower and lower. The hate-filled life is no way to maintain longevity. Thank you!!!

Trying my best in such trying times to follow the scent. Thankful for your words. Yes!!
Thank you!
One of nature's best scents!
Sweet scents of summer,
sparring greed’s stench. Suffusing.
Mayhap sufficient?
Linden trees are my favorite.
I love basswood trees!
